About this resource
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), previously known as Food Stamps, assists low-income families in acquiring the food necessary for their health. Eligible participants receive an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, functioning like a debit card at grocery stores, funded by a SNAP account designated for the family. This card can only be utilized for approved food purchases. Language support is available in English, with interpreters accessible.
