About this resource
CHIP, or the Children’s Health Insurance Program, offers affordable health insurance for children under the age of 19 whose family income is too high for Medicaid eligibility. Families may need to pay a minimal monthly premium of either $10 or $15 based on their income for each child enrolled in the program. Services are available in English, and interpreters can be provided.
Intake Procedure: You can apply by calling or visiting in person; a written application is necessary.
