The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering various services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's growth. Key offerings include 4-H programs, weed control initiatives, home economics, the Extension Nutrition Program (ENP), garden and landscape management, youth at risk programs, family resource management, crop and horticulture education, small business assistance, money management, life skills training, pesticide applicator education, food preservation, and soil testing.
