About this resource
CASA/GAL is a program that assigns trained volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Our goal is to ensure that these children's best interests are represented. A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is a volunteer appointed by the court to speak on behalf of an abused or neglected child, serving as a crucial voice in legal proceedings. GALs are also known as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Languages spoken include English.
Intake Process: Entry into the program occurs through judicial action.
