About this resource

Auburn Crest Hospice is committed to honoring the rights of both patients and their families, which include the ability to experience the highest quality of life, to die with dignity as defined by the individual, and to engage actively in managing their remaining time. The hospice ensures that patients can remain integral family members in their preferred environment while addressing their unique needs. Auburn Crest Hospice aims for excellence by providing outstanding physical care and alleviating pain and symptoms without causing significant mental or physical distress. It offers continuous emotional support to patients and their caregivers throughout the illness, encourages active family participation in end-of-life planning, and helps families navigate the grieving process and other challenges associated with serious illness and loss. Additionally, the hospice supports families in resolving bereavement issues for up to a year or more following the patient's passing and participates in community education initiatives related to hospice care.
