About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program reviews and assesses reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When required, it offers suitable services to address family issues. This program evaluates incidents of reported child abuse, which may involve assessing family members and/or the child who has been harmed. It also facilitates counseling for victims, parents, the abuser, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the program is responsible for licensing foster homes and offering some adoption services, and it is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible if needed.
