The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluations, diagnoses, referrals, guardianships, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services for infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) to help them achieve their full potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in aiding children in communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and active participation in family life. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to adults with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program is overseen by the Division of Family and Community Services, and services are available in English with interpreters accessible upon request.
