The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships, and commitments, as well as service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program addresses both the developmental needs of the child and the family's needs to foster the child's growth. It operates with multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and participation in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The administration of the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program falls under the Division of Family and Community Services.
