El-Ada offers confidential rapid HIV testing utilizing the OraQuick Rapid Antibody HIV-1/2 test, which is an oral swab test providing results in just 15 minutes. Alongside testing, we also offer a risk assessment and education on HIV prevention, all free of charge and without requiring an appointment. In terms of overdose prevention, we provide NARCAN Nasal Spray (Naloxone) at no cost upon request, which is an opioid overdose reversal medication available to opioid users and their loved ones. Our goal is to help reduce opioid overdose incidents in our community. Additionally, El-Ada conducts rapid testing for Hepatitis C using the OraQuick Rapid Antibody HCV test, also an oral swab test with results in 15 minutes, along with risk assessments and prevention education, all free and appointment-free. We also support harm reduction by providing supplies to prevent the transmission of HIV and HCV. In collaboration with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, we run a Safer Syringe Program that facilitates the safe disposal and exchange of injection supplies. Furthermore, we offer sexual health supplies to help prevent HIV and other STDs/STIs. Languages spoken include English. For intake procedures, please call us.
