About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment and offers necessary services to address family needs. This program conducts assessments to determine the validity of reported child abuse incidents, which may involve evaluating family members and the child in question. It also facilitates counseling for victims, parents, the abuser, and others involved, with no fees for child protective services. Additionally, the program licenses child care facilities, foster homes, and offers some adoption services. The Division of Family and Community Services administers this program, and services are available in English with interpreter access as needed.
