The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family supports. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, and shares information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to aid families in supporting their infants and toddlers (from birth to 36 months) in achieving their full potential. These early intervention services address both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and engagement in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities by providing court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English, with interpreters available upon request.
