About this resource

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), previously referred to as Food Stamps, assists low-income families in acquiring the food essential for their health. Eligible participants receive an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, functioning similarly to a debit card, which is used at grocery stores. This card draws funds from a designated SNAP account for the family to cover food purchases, with benefits restricted to approved food items. Available languages include English and Spanish.

Intake Process: You can apply by calling or visiting in person; a written application is necessary.
