Area Agency On Aging - Twin Falls

This initiative provides leadership and advocacy on matters significant to older Idahoans, managing and supervising federally and state-funded programs aimed at assisting them in preserving their independence, safety, and dignity. It includes information and referral services for seniors. **PROGRAMS AND SERVICES:** **Adult Protection** - Investigation and legal support. **Family Caregiver Support Program** - Offers assistance, information, respite, support, and additional services. **In-Home Services** - Includes case management, homemaker services, home-delivered meals, and caregiver respite. **Nutrition Services** - Provides a directory of senior centers, home-delivered meals, group meals, education, and counseling. **Aging and Disability Resource Center** - Offers information and assistance regarding long-term care. **Ombudsmen** - Advocates for elderly individuals in care facilities. **Support Services** - Includes information and assistance, outreach, and transportation. **Grandparents as Parents Support Group** - Aids grandparents and other adults who step in to care for children during parents' absence or neglect. **Foster Grandparent Program** - Encourages volunteering in local schools. **Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)** - Engages senior volunteers using their skills to contribute to their communities. **Senior Companion Program** - Supports seniors in helping other seniors maintain their independence. The Idaho Commission on Aging supervises Area Agency on Aging offices. Available in English and Spanish.
