About this resource
CASA/GAL is a program that provides trained volunteers as court-appointed advocates for children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. Our goal is to represent the best interests of these vulnerable children. A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is a volunteer who is designated by the court to advocate for the welfare of an abused or neglected child, serving as a crucial voice in legal proceedings. GALs are also known as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Services are available in both English and Spanish.
Intake Procedure: Appointments are made through the court.
