About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment and offers necessary services to address family needs. This program assesses and determines the validity of reported child abuse incidents, which may involve evaluating family members and the affected child. It facilitates counseling for victims, parents, the alleged abuser, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services, and is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services.
