Family Directed Services - Region 5

The redesigned system aims to deliver a range of benefits tailored to meet the needs of children with developmental disabilities, with support from the state, provider community, and families. Benefits can be accessed through two distinct 'Pathways'. The 'Traditional Pathway' focuses on a mix of services and supports, emphasizing skill development through evidence-based treatment methods and natural community integration. Alternatively, families can opt for the 'Family-Directed Pathway', allowing them to self-direct services for their child.
