About this resource
The Idaho Commission for the Blind & Visually Impaired's Twin Falls Office offers three main programs: Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Independent Living Services, and Sight Restoration Services. **Vocational Rehabilitation Services aim to help blind or visually impaired individuals re-enter the workforce. **Independent Living Services focus on enabling visually impaired or blind individuals to achieve maximum independence in their daily lives. **Sight Restoration Services primarily provide financial support to eligible individuals to mitigate or eliminate the risk of blindness. **Training in various alternative techniques for managing blindness, such as Braille, the use of a long white cane, home economics, and communication skills, is also provided. A residential training program is available at the Boise office. Furthermore, low vision services, including adaptive equipment, magnifiers, and voice output devices, are offered. Languages spoken include English.
