The Idaho Commission for the Blind & Visually Impaired's Twin Falls Office offers four key programs: Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Independent Living Services, and Sight Restoration Services. Vocational Rehabilitation focuses on helping visually impaired or blind individuals to re-enter the workforce. Independent Living Services aim to promote independence for visually impaired or blind individuals in their daily lives. The Older Blind program is dedicated to individuals aged 55 and older. Sight Restoration Services primarily provide financial support to help eligible individuals mitigate or eliminate the risk of blindness. Training in various techniques for coping with blindness, such as Braille, long white cane use, home economics, and communication skills, is also offered. A residential training program is available at the Boise office, along with low vision services that include adaptive devices, magnifiers, and voice output technology.
