The University of Idaho's Cooperative Extension System focuses on aiding Idaho's agricultural and rural communities through a variety of services, programs, and research that are vital for the state's growth. Key offerings include 4-H/Youth Development, Weed Control Programs, Parenting Programs, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Garden and Landscape Management Programs, Youth at Risk Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, initiatives for starting or managing a small business, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills training, Water Quality Testing, Pesticide Applicator Training, and Food Preservation.
