About this resource
Inpatient detox is overseen by medical personnel to guarantee a safe withdrawal from drugs and/or alcohol. The process includes medical management of withdrawal during detoxification from substances such as alcohol, illicit drugs, and prescription medications (including opioids, benzodiazepines, and barbiturates/sedatives). Patients receive daily assessments to promote effective detoxification, allowing them to engage in subsequent addiction treatment programs aimed at recovery. Available languages include Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, English, and Chinese.
