About this resource
This initiative offers a Meals on Wheels service tailored for seniors who cannot engage in conventional grocery assistance programs because they are unable to prepare their own meals. Eligible seniors will receive seven (7) healthy, prepared meals each week. The program is specifically aimed at individuals aged 60 and above who are: at risk or currently facing food insecurity, homebound due to illness or disability, unable to attend a group meal site, unable to utilize Golden Groceries due to cooking limitations, lacking a caretaker to prepare meals, capable of safely storing prepared meals, and able to reheat meals properly (e.g., using a microwave or oven). Services are available in both Spanish and English.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call or visit the website for further information.
Fees: There is no charge for this service.
