Family Resource Centers Of Northeastern Nevada

These two evidence-based programs focus on teaching young individuals how to make informed and healthy life choices. They have demonstrated effectiveness in lowering the risks of sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and teenage pregnancy. The programs are accessible in six northern Nevada counties and provide medically accurate information alongside essential skills for recognizing and managing social pressures. Participants will gain insights into reproductive health, puberty, hygiene, personal responsibility, independence, communication, and strategies to avoid risky behaviors, all while fostering respect for themselves and others, enhancing their knowledge, and building confidence. Offered in both Spanish and English.
