The program receives, investigates, and strives to resolve issues raised by or on behalf of residents in long-term care facilities, advocating for the residents' interests. All services offered by the Ombudsman program are kept confidential. Available languages include English and Spanish.

- Any individual can submit a report, specifically concerning residents of long-term care facilities.
