Public health preparedness aims to protect community health and safety by planning for and responding to public health emergencies. This involves monitoring diseases, investigating outbreaks, coordinating with public health partners throughout all stages of an emergency, and developing essential capacities in accordance with federal and state standards. Language support includes access to translation services in English.
