About this resource
This initiative is aimed at residents of Washoe County who are 60 years or older and find it challenging to handle their Social Security or SSI benefits, particularly if they lack a reliable person to assist them. It is particularly suited for those who: • Require assistance with budgeting or financial organization • Are vulnerable to financial exploitation or neglect • Suffer from cognitive or health issues that hinder their ability to manage finances. Please note that this is a fee-for-service program, and additional eligibility criteria or limitations may be imposed based on funding and program availability. Languages offered include English.
Intake Procedure: A referral form can be found online at the Washoe County Senior Services Website under Programs and Services.

- Seniors aged 60 and above who cannot manage their finances, lack a suitable representative, and live within the community.
