Nysed Adult Career And Continuing Education Services - Vocational Rehabilitation

This initiative provides vocational rehabilitation services aimed at helping eligible individuals prepare for employment, including support for furthering their education based on their strengths, abilities, and interests. Employment opportunities may be found in the competitive job market, through self-employment at home, in sheltered workshops, or supported employment within the community. The program also collaborates with students, families, and school districts to ensure suitable services are available for students with disabilities transitioning from secondary education to adult vocational rehabilitation.

Fees: Initial consultations with a counselor, as well as diagnostic and evaluation services, are provided at no cost. Funding for additional services may depend on income and family resources.
