The available licenses and permits encompass marriage licenses, hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler and solicitor licenses, as well as racing and wagering licenses. Additionally, it processes Freedom of Information requests and offers notary services. From January to October 31st, it prepares and collects property taxes for the residents of the Village of Colonie, with all paperwork transferred to the Albany County Treasurer's Office after this date. It also assesses and maintains property records within the Village of Colonie.
