Catholic Charities Of Broome County

This initiative provides early intervention for children under 21 and their families to meet mental health needs while ensuring that children remain in their homes and communities. The services offered include therapy, psycho-social rehabilitation, and peer support tailored for both youth and their families. Assistance can occur at home, in schools, or within the community, which helps avert the need for hospitalizations or out-of-home placements. Eligibility requires that children and youth are enrolled in Medicaid, and referrals can be initiated by parents, caregivers, teachers, or other service providers.
