About this resource
The program is designed to lower the rates of HIV/AIDS and STDs among black, indigenous, and people of color. It provides education on HIV, STDs, and Hepatitis C, including treatment options and safer sex practices. Clients are supported in establishing and achieving personal health goals. The initiative offers complimentary male and female condoms, lubricants, dental dams, and referrals to community support services, along with testing for HIV, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea, which can include partner testing. Staff members are available to answer health-related inquiries. Counseling and referrals for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, a daily medication that helps prevent sexual transmission of HIV, are also provided.
