About this resource
Meals are provided from Monday to Friday by volunteers who also check in on participants each day. Volunteers for Meals on Wheels are sought to deliver meals weekly, Monday through Friday, between 11 am and 1 pm. Individuals can volunteer as drivers, visitors, or both. Delivery routes are available in various areas of Broome County, including Binghamton, Chenango Bridge, Conklin/Kirkwood, Harpursville, and Whitney Point. Volunteer drivers are eligible for mileage reimbursement. NOTE: For services in Endicott, Johnson City, Town of Union, Vestal, and Maine, please refer to Meals on Wheels of Western Broome.
Intake Procedure: Call for details.
Fees: A contribution for meals is requested.
Who can use this
- Eligibility includes an assessment for homebound individuals or those with special dietary needs, aged 60 and above, along with their spouse.
