C Tran - Main Site

This service provides regularly scheduled bus routes across the city of Elmira and connects it to Corning (including Corning Community College), Ithaca (Cornell University), Horseheads, and the Chemung County Transportation Center to the Corning Transportation Center, as well as to the Elmira-Corning Airport. Bus service is available upon request on all routes, excluding commuter lines. Curbside pickup is offered for residents within 3/4 of a mile from a bus route, but deviation is not permitted on commuter routes.

Fare Information: Passengers can pay using tokens, monthly or semester passes, or cash. Note that monthly or semester passes are not valid for Route Deviation services, and exact change is required for cash payments. The standard cash fare for regular routes is $1.75 per boarding, while the Shopper Shuttle costs $0.50. For Routes 10, 20, and 20E, the cash fare is $2.25 per boarding, and the fare for Route Deviation is $3.50 per boarding.
