About this resource
This initiative provides various forms of assistance to individuals impacted by intimate partner violence, such as temporary housing, emergency transportation, childcare, and advocacy with entities like courts, law enforcement, and the Department of Social Services. Additionally, it offers supportive counseling, safety planning, loaning of cell phones, and help with NYS Office of Victim Services compensation claims and Family Offense Petitions. Educational resources on domestic violence are also available for individuals, groups, and staff at secondary schools and colleges.
