About this resource
The Early Intervention Program offers services to eligible infants, toddlers, and preschoolers up to the age of 5. These services are delivered in the child's natural settings, such as their home or daycare, where they spend their time. Parental participation is crucial, and parents are encouraged to engage as much as possible.

Who can use this
- To qualify for this program, a core evaluation assesses five developmental areas (cognitive, social-emotional, physical, communication, and adaptive). A child must show a 33% delay in one area or a 25% delay in two or more areas. Certain children may be automatically eligible due to specific diagnosed conditions like Down's Syndrome or cerebral palsy. If there is no diagnosis but a parent suspects a delay, they can request an evaluation.
