About this resource
Founded in 1981 by National Grid, Care & Share assists low-income families and individuals struggling with high bills to manage their monthly expenses. This year, HeartShare Human Services of New York has been designated to oversee the fund. Together, they will provide support to numerous families during each heating season, commencing on January 7, 2013.

- Eligibility for the fund is limited to applicants who meet the HEAP income guidelines, specifically targeting seniors in this area.
