This initiative provides health insurance to individuals aged 65 and above, those who have been receiving Social Security disability benefits for a minimum of 24 consecutive months, and insured workers and their families. It also issues new or replacement Social Security numbers and cards. Benefits are available for disabled workers who are below Full Retirement Age, their dependents, and survivors of insured workers, including widows or widowers aged 60 and over, those with dependent children aged 16 and younger, and widows between the ages of 50 and 60 who meet disability criteria. Monthly payments are made to disabled adults and children with limited income and resources, and benefits are also accessible to individuals aged 65 and older without disabilities. Additionally, it connects those receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) with free employment services.
