HEAP Plus is a county-funded initiative that provides heating assistance to households that exceed the limits set by the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). Eligible households with qualifying income may receive a one-time payment, which is sent directly to their heating service provider to help offset a portion of their annual heating expenses.
