About this resource

This after-school initiative caters to boys and girls aged 5 to 18, focusing on five essential areas of development. Character Leadership Development helps youth to engage with and positively impact their Club and community, build meaningful relationships, foster a healthy self-image, participate in democratic processes, and appreciate diverse cultural identities. Education and Career Development equips youth with essential academic skills, encourages the application of knowledge in real-life contexts, and promotes the use of technology to enhance job readiness. Health and Life Skills empower young individuals to adopt positive habits for their well-being, set personal objectives, and acquire the skills necessary for independent living. The Arts program nurtures creativity and cultural appreciation through exposure to various forms of visual arts, performing arts, and creative writing. Lastly, Sports, Fitness, and Recreation focus on physical health, effective leisure use, stress management techniques, environmental appreciation, and the development of social skills.

Intake Procedure: A membership application must be filled out by parents for each child enrolling, along with attendance at a parent orientation.

Fees: The program operates on a sliding fee scale determined by the household size and income of the family.
