Boys & Girls Clubs Of Buffalo - John F. Beecher Clubhouse

This after-school initiative caters to boys and girls aged 5 to 18, encompassing five essential program areas. Character Leadership Development encourages youth to engage with their Club and community, build meaningful relationships, foster a positive self-image, participate in democratic activities, and respect cultural identities. Education and Career Development helps youth master fundamental educational skills, apply their knowledge in real-life contexts, and leverage technology to enhance their job prospects. Health and Life Skills focus on empowering young individuals to adopt positive habits for personal well-being, set achievable goals, and acquire the skills needed for independent living. The Arts program nurtures creativity and cultural appreciation through exposure to various artistic disciplines, including visual arts, performing arts, and creative writing. Lastly, Sports, Fitness, and Recreation promote physical fitness, effective leisure activities, stress management techniques, environmental appreciation, and social skills.

Intake Procedure: Parents are required to fill out a membership application for each child they wish to enroll and attend a parent orientation.

Fees: For ages 5-13, the cost is $250 per semester, while those aged 14 and older can participate for free from 6 PM to 8 PM. DSS is accepted, and discounts for siblings are available.
