Crisis Services Advocate Program - Rape Crisis Center & Domestic Violence Services

The Rape Crisis Center offers assistance for Domestic Violence, Family Violence, and Elder Abuse, providing a 24-hour immediate crisis response to all Erie County Hospital Emergency Departments when victims of rape, domestic or family violence, or elder abuse are identified. Their services encompass crisis intervention, advocacy, safety planning, case management, supportive counseling, prevention education, and community referrals. Additionally, the center runs a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program across Erie and Niagara Counties in collaboration with YMCA Niagara. They have satellite offices at the Buffalo Police Sex Offense Section, Town of Tonawanda Police Department, and Erie County Sheriff's Office, with speakers and trainers available. Advocates are also present at various college campuses throughout Erie County.
