Erie County Sheriff's Office - Domestic Violence Unit

Offers crisis intervention and assistance to those affected by family violence, elder abuse, rape, and sexual assault. The services are safe and confidential, including counseling, safety planning, court advocacy, and referrals. Additionally, it provides extensive programs on domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, elder abuse, and bullying prevention for schools, community organizations, women's groups, scouting troops, and other interested parties.

Intake Procedure: An advocate is automatically assigned to any domestic incident reported to law enforcement. Individuals can also contact the office directly or ask any law enforcement officer for an advocate.

Fees: No cost.
