Family Resource Center - Salvation Army Buffalo

The emergency food pantry offers pre-packed bags of food that are sized according to family needs. Clients are allowed to visit the pantry once each month and are encouraged to bring reusable bags or a cart for transporting their food. Additional food services are available through the Emergency Canteen (refer to a separate listing under the Homeless Outreach Program). The program also includes intensive case management for families, help with SNAP applications and re-certifications, as well as screenings and referrals for other Salvation Army programs. ##REENTRY##

Intake Procedure: Clients need to bring reusable bags or a cart for food transport. Upon arrival, they will be asked to fill out a mandatory grocery slip, after which staff will provide the pre-packed food bags in the waiting area.
