About this resource
This center provides a venue for community meetings, referrals to food pantries, special events, family-oriented activities, and access to a technology center and computer lab. Senior programs feature exercise classes, movie screenings, social gatherings, senior council meetings, bingo, nutrition initiatives, and field trips. For youth, there is an after-school program for children aged 5-10, 4-H activities, homework assistance, life skills development for teens, recreational activities, summer day camps, and sports programs. Additionally, the center offers adult sports and recreation, fitness programs, and a fitness room. It also functions as a Cooling Center during extreme heat and a Warming Center during severe cold; it is advisable to call ahead to confirm availability before visiting.
Intake Procedure: Individuals can apply by phone, in writing, or by visiting in person.
Fees: Most services are provided at no cost, although some programs may require a membership fee.
