John R. Oishei Children's Hospital (Och)

John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) serves as a regional hub for pediatric and women's health, situated on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. It stands out as one of the few freestanding children's hospitals in New York State, offering extensive care for infants, children, teens, and young adults up to age 21, alongside dedicated women's health services such as prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum assistance. The hospital boasts a cutting-edge labor and delivery unit and includes a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which provides the highest standard of care for critically ill or premature newborns. With 185 inpatient beds and a rooftop helipad, OCH also features an ACS-verified Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, one of the limited facilities of its kind in the area. It operates as a teaching hospital in partnership with the State University of New York at Buffalo and is part of the Kaleida Health system, catering to patients throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario.
