About this resource
This initiative provides food assistance to low-income families in need, featuring a regular distribution schedule detailed below. During the holiday season, extra food distributions occur at various locations as part of the Boxes of Love program; for the schedule, visit: https://bolbdc.org/bol-food-pantry-sites/. Regular Schedule (Monthly): FIRST FRIDAY at Frederick Douglass Community Center, 234 Jefferson Avenue (parking lot), Buffalo, NY 14204 at 4:30 PM; SECOND FRIDAY at Hertel Park Senior Housing, 1631 Hertel Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14216 at 1 PM and Church of the Assumption, 435 Amherst Street (in the parking lot located on Peter Street), Buffalo, NY 14207 at 4:30 PM; THIRD FRIDAY at LaSalle Courts, 110 Blum Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14216 at 4 PM and BDC Outreach Center, 437 Masten Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209 at 4:30 PM; FOURTH FRIDAY at Arkansas Street, in the empty lot behind McDonald's on West Ferry Street, at 4:30 PM. ##REENTRY## ##REENTRY##
Intake Procedure: For the Mobile Pantry, walk up and present proof of income along with a photo ID. For the Boxes of Love Food Pantry Program, visit the site at the designated time. For information on Boxes of Love locations and schedule, check: https://bolbdc.org/bol-food-pantry-sites/
