Pratt Willert Community Center - Cao

This community center acts as a meal site for seniors (refer to Hours below) and offers AARP Defensive Driving courses. It hosts a summer program along with a variety of after-school initiatives, including the NURTURE Academy. The NURTURE (Neighborhoods United for Restoration Teaching Upliftment Recreation & Education) Academy is designed to enhance the academic success of children in grades K-8. The program focuses on four primary clubs: Reading, Culture, Debate, and Drama. Additionally, students engage in character education, arts and crafts, and recreational activities that support their social growth. The center also functions as a Cooling Center during extreme heat events, specifically from June 30th to July 2nd, 2026, from 12 noon to 6 pm. It is advisable to call ahead to confirm the Cooling Center's availability before visiting.
