About this resource
The program provides help with completing forms and offers information and referrals. It includes transportation from one location to another for medical appointments, as well as limited grocery assistance. Additionally, it serves hot, nutritious lunches and features recreational activities, educational and health programs (such as screenings for blood pressure, hearing, and cholesterol), along with organized trips that may last a day or overnight. A monthly bulletin can be requested, and seniors aged 55 and older can obtain a Mayor's discount card, which is valid only within the city.
Intake Procedure: Walk-in.
Fees: No charge.
Who can use this
- Individuals aged 55 and older qualify for the discount card, while those 60 and older are eligible for all other services; the program serves the City of Buffalo.
