Sweet Home Family Support Center

Delivers suitable, cost-effective, and prompt intervention and support for families of children exclusively in the Sweet Home School District dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/self-image, substance use, family conflicts, peer relationships, or significant academic and/or behavioral challenges. Additionally, it offers assistance to parents and caregivers with their own counseling needs and parenting support. On-site clinical mental health counseling for students and families is available, delivered by both agency and private practitioners. Families may also be referred to community locations for counseling services. Furthermore, it connects families in need of health insurance, financial aid, housing, recreational programs, and more with human service organizations and community resources that can assist with these specific requirements. The program sponsors various initiatives on topics such as parenting, mental health awareness, bullying prevention, and substance abuse prevention. A resource library is also available for parents and adolescents, featuring materials on parenting, adolescent issues, and social concerns.
