Summit Academy - Summit Center

This school provides an alternative educational program for children aged 3 to 21 who have autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges that local public school programs are unable to address. The program includes Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy and offers Integrated Preschool for children aged 3-4 and Day Care for those aged 0-5, catering to both typical children and those with developmental disabilities. Available services may encompass Adaptive Aids & Equipment, Adapted Physical Education, Behavior Management, Job Coaching, Nursing Services, Occupational Therapy, Parent Support, Physical Therapy, Pre-vocational Skills Development, Recreation, Social Skills Training, Speech, Language and Hearing, and Transition Programs. An intake procedure requires a referral or approval from the home school district's Committee on Special Education (CSE) or Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE). There are no fees for these services.
