About this resource
This initiative provides independent living in a selected apartment with limited staff support. HUD-funded programs cater to homeless individuals with mental health challenges and offer a housing stipend. Additional programs serve low-income (SSI) adults with mental illnesses who are not homeless. Individuals eligible for the Erie County Care Coordination Program receive priority access. There are a limited number of beds for those transitioning from a licensed community residence program.

Costs involve contributing one-third of income towards rent.
