This program provides health insurance to individuals aged 65 and above, as well as those who have received Social Security benefits due to disability for at least 24 consecutive months, and insured workers with their dependents. It also issues new or replacement Social Security numbers and/or cards. Benefits are available for disabled workers who have not yet reached Full Retirement Age, their dependents, and survivors of insured workers, including widows or widowers aged 60 and older, those with dependent children under 16, and widows between 50 and 60 who meet specific disability criteria. Additionally, it offers monthly payments to disabled adults and children with limited income and resources, and benefits are also provided to individuals aged 65 and older who do not have disabilities. The program connects those receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) with complimentary employment services.
